Nordic Shipping has been established by Jürgen Graeber in 1985 as Germany’s first Bunkerbroker, most appropriately in the heart of German oiltrading at that time, Hamburg’s “City Nord”.

His vision of a provider of comprehensive bunker-services strictly at customer’s requirements is even more valid today than 25 years ago. 

When Jürgen Graeber retired in 1998 Nordic Shipping was converted into a private limited company by Michael Thomsen and the registered office was transferred to its current location in the heart of Hamburg’s citycenter.

Since 2008 the company is wholly owned by Thomas Petersen and celebrated its 25^th anniversary on August 27^th, 2010 – ever unchanged customer satisfaction is the standard daily business is done to.
